Home again!
I wish we had just one more day. But alas, all good things must come to an end. We made an awesome day out of it though.
First we went to the Alamo. I have not been since I was a kid, this time I was able to get the personal tour and it was wonderful!

After we went and had French Fries and Shakes at The Hard Rock Cafe. I remember the shakes being better but the girls loved them and that is all that matters. We then hit up the River Walk mall, did a little shopping and scarfed down some cold drinks in the food court. That was the most packed I have EVER seen a mall, btw!
Then we headed off to a restaurant we have been dying to take Miriam to for almost a year. We went to The Rain forest Cafe. It was really cool , although a pain in the butt to get to. I hate the the places on the River Walk have upper entrances but they only open the lower entrances. Drives me batty because you have to hunt for the elevator. Kind of hard to use stairs when you have a stroller.
The funny thing about all of this is that Miriam FELL ASLEEP at the table. We was able to get her awake enough to enjoy her delicious but truly over priced food but it was an effort. Georgia, who loved the place was a little scared of the animals at first but daddy took her up in his arms and carried her all through the place to show her they weren't real.

We had so much fun this weekend. And after writing this I change my mind, I am glad to be home. I am going to go spend a few more minutes with my husband before he has to go to bed. He has to go back to San Antonio in the morning!
