I wish we had just one more day. But alas, all good things must come to an end. We made an awesome day out of it though.
First we went to the Alamo. I have not been since I was a kid, this time I was able to get the personal tour and it was wonderful!
After we went and had French Fries and Shakes at The Hard Rock Cafe. I remember the shakes being better but the girls loved them and that is all that matters. We then hit up the River Walk mall, did a little shopping and scarfed down some cold drinks in the food court. That was the most packed I have EVER seen a mall, btw!
Then we headed off to a restaurant we have been dying to take Miriam to for almost a year. We went to The Rain forest Cafe. It was really cool , although a pain in the butt to get to. I hate the the places on the River Walk have upper entrances but they only open the lower entrances. Drives me batty because you have to hunt for the elevator. Kind of hard to use stairs when you have a stroller.
The funny thing about all of this is that Miriam FELL ASLEEP at the table. We was able to get her awake enough to enjoy her delicious but truly over priced food but it was an effort. Georgia, who loved the place was a little scared of the animals at first but daddy took her up in his arms and carried her all through the place to show her they weren't real.
We had so much fun this weekend. And after writing this I change my mind, I am glad to be home. I am going to go spend a few more minutes with my husband before he has to go to bed. He has to go back to San Antonio in the morning!

We had so much fun at Sea World today but I think we are about half a second from death. It was SO FREAKIN HOT , when we left it was 104 outside. Insane, what were we thinking, we should have waited until fall. Oh well, lesson learned. The important thing was the fun factor. We ignored the heat as best we could and made them most out of it. I think Georgia had more fun than anyone of us. That girl LOVED being around all those people. She is such a people person, not at all like her mommy.
We even managed to get one of those cartoon drawings of the girls. It is so cute! Just not so sure where to hang it.
The cartoon drawing of the girls:
We came home from Sea World and took advantage of the FREE dinner buffet at our most awesome hotel. Then we cooled off at the indoor pool. Georgia was so funny & brave at the pool. She got so mad at us for not letting her jump by herself into the deep end. She just cracks me up!

We are in San Antonio and are already having a wonderful time! We went to visit the Temple this evening. As with all Temples , it was absolutely beautiful. Tom has never been to an LDS Temple so this was a very exciting thing for our family. We walked around and just enjoyed being close so close to Heavenly father. It is so amazing how powerful the spirit is in our lives these days.
And of course we all had to eat! We took the girls to Chuck E. Cheese afterwards. It was pretty much next door to our hotel. (along with Krispy Creme..YUM)
On that happy note, I am pooped! We are shutting down and going to bed. I love this hotel!

I cannot believe Georgia is two already! It seems these past two years have gone so quickly. I am going to say it is because we are so happy with life these days. And truly we are VERY happy. We had a little party at home tonight and are going to go to San Antonio this weekend.
